Oxy provides retiree medical and dental benefits to eligible retirees and their dependents.

Your retiree medical options are based on your and/or your dependents' eligibility for Medicare. As a result, you and your dependents may be in different retiree medical plans.

BCBS of Western NY
Oxy sets a base contribution rate for retiree medical coverage. Your cost will be one to four times the retiree base contribution, depending on your combined age and service at the time of your retirement and your Medicare eligibility status. See 2023 Retiree Health Care Rates.
The Retiree Dental Plan promotes and encourages preventive dental care and provides benefits for services that are essential to the proper care of your teeth. The plan is administered by Aetna. It offers significant cost savings when you use providers in Aetna’s Dental PPO/PDN with PPO II network. See Retiree Dental Plan for more details.
